You can import records into Gpass using the Import CSV feature.

From the account settings (Export/Import tab), you can import a Gpass CSV file by filling in your records it in a predefined format. Here is a sample CSV that imports seamlessly into Gpass.

Alternatively, you can enter the information in Google sheet and download as CSV. Use this google sheet and first make a copy (File -> Make a copy). Then, replace records in the sheet with yours and add as many rows as you want. Once you are ready, download the CSV (File -> Download as -> Comma separated values (CSV) current sheet)

If you use a different password manager and would like to bring in your records into Gpass, first export your records (from the previous password manager) into a CSV (or any other readable format) and then construct the Gpass CSV using the sample or the google sheet.

It is important that you follow the Gpass CSV structure, else the import would fail.

Here are more details of each column in the Gpass CSV file:
description - Description of the record goes in here, basically the title (Example: Amazon)
note - Notes related to the record go here. Make sure all notes at in the same line. Next line would break the csv (Example: Shopping account)
Field0 - Name of the field label (Example: URL)
Type0 - text or password. If type is password, then field value is masked (Example: text)
Value0 - Value in the field itself (Example: www.amazon.com)
Field1 - Name of the field label (Example: Username)
Type1 - text or password. If type is password, then field value is masked (Example: text)
Value1 - Value in the field itself (Example: johndoe@gmail.com)
Field2 - Name of the field label (Example: Password)
Type2 - text or password. If type is password, then field value is masked (Example: password)
Value2 - Value in the field itself (Example: Fakem00se)

You can continue with unlimited Field/Type/Value columns by incrementing the number.

From Account settings (Export/Import tab), select 'Import Gpass records' and select the Gpass CSV, which is ready to import.

Once you perform the import, you should see the records in the 'All records' view.
For security, you should delete the CSV file and delete the Google sheet after import is successfully done.

Note - CSV import feature in Gpass does not import any icons. But once import is done, you can edit a record and upload an icon associated with the record.
